TOUR 2008
OSCC had a successful tour to Hampshire and Sussex on July 24th - 27th 2008. The tourists stayed at the Red Lion Hotel in Fareham for 3 nights. On the 1st day OSCC lost to a strong Fareham XI by 110 runs. Despite this, their was some good cricket played from Stowey with Gary Thomas top scoring with 40 and number 11 Neil Buller smashing a quickfire 35.
On Friday, Stowey to travelled to Storrington and lost by 7 wickets, again there was some good performances with Simon Pickard and Dale Shepherd both in the runs.
On Saturday, the tourists had their "rest day", with many opting to watch the 20/20 finals and some visiting Southampton. The tourists would like to thank Ashley Easden for orgainising the tour, as well as Fareham and Storrington Cricket Clubs for their superb hospitality. Also thanks to Ashley, Simon and Mark for driving (and stalling) the bus!
