UNDER 13's v Ashcott and Shapwick - Sunday 1st June

Over Stowey Won by 23 runs

Batting first, Ashcott and Shapwick were kept to a total of 229, with William Shute and Jordan Buller taking two wickets each and Tom Hillman performing well behind the stumps on a very damp pitch.

When over Stowey batted, it took until the sixteenth over to overtake Ashcott's score and with Jack Rich top scoring with 21 runs over stowey finished on a total of 252.

This was not our best performance , so hopefully we will be back to normal in our next game.

UNDER 13's vs Middlezoy - Sunday 11th May

Over Stowey won by 48 runs

After putting Middlezoy into bat, Jack Rich soon found his bowling form taking four wickets in his first two overs.

With Lee Villis and Jordan Buller also taking one wicket each and good accurate bowling from all the bowlers they kept Middlezoy to a total of 248.

The Stowey openers started well and the rest of the team followed on really well, and only losing three wickets stowey finished on 296.

Rhys Satchell scored 22 runs and Tom Hillman finishing on 19 runs.

This was a great performance by the whole team and the best possible start to the new season.
