THANK YOU for visiting the official website of
Over Stowey Cricket Club.
Over Stowey is situated at the foot of the Quantock Hills, in Somerset, and we are near the towns of Bridgwater and Taunton.
We have two senior Saturday league sides, the 1st XI play in Division Two of the West Somerset League, and the Seconds play in Division Five of the same league. We also play a number of friendlies, against local sides and host touring sides.
The Club has a thriving youth set up, having three sides, an Under-11's, an Under 13's and an Under 15's.
The Club has also recently achieved ECB Clubmark Status, which recognises our work with youth cricket and shows it can be played in a safe environment.
Mark Sortwell has taken over the role of 1st XI captain for the 2008 season, and is looking to regain our position in the top flight. Also there is a lot happening of the pitch in 2008, goto Forthcoming Events to see what is happening.
If you are looking to play cricket at any level, whether it is youth or senior, please contact us.
Charity Weekend: A great weekend was had by all, with over 450 going through the gates of the ground. For a full report and pictures click here
