The latest news from Over Stowey
THE AGM is to held on Sunday 22nd November at Over Stowey Village Hall, starting at 7.30pm. There are some important issues to discuss, as well as election of officers, the club are looking to discuss a proposed extension to the Pavilion, plus new ground equipment and the propsed 2010 tour. All players are expected to attend, the parents of the youth sides are welcome as well.

CHARITY WEEKEND: Wow, what can we say, what a weekend, and we would like to thank all those who turned up and attended. We raised just under £1,900, and that is shared out between the Club and our Charity.
Congratulations goes to the winners: Bullers Bashers who won the six-a-side and to teh Might Mariners who retain the Ray Poole Trophy.
And a big thank you to all those who helped out over the weekend, there are too many names to mention, but without you, this wekend wouldn't of been possible. For pictures of the weekend please click here.
THE Club would like to welcome Ian, Deborah, Richard and Estee who are the new managers of the Ancient Mariner Public House, who also act as main club sponsors.

THE 2007 Fixtures for the West Somerset League have been published and can be viewed by clicking on the link for the 1st XI or 2nd XI. The 1st XI begin the season with a home match against Huish Champflower, who they also played in the opening game of last season. The 2nd XI start their season with an away match with West Monkton II, who finished 5th in Division 5 last year. Both teams begin their season on the 5th May. The 1st XI finish on 8th September with a home game against Bridgetown, who were relegated from Division 1 last year. The 2nd XI finish their season on 22nd September with an away match against Curry Rivel.
