THE 1st XI finished the season in a creditable 5th position with 236 points, finishing with a record of 7 wins and 7 defeats with 4 matches called off. In total just 86 points seperated top and bottom of the West Somerset 2nd Division. In August and September, Stowey won four out of five matches played and must look to start next season with this consistency in order to challenge for promotion next year.

THE 2nd XI finished the season in 2nd bottom position, although are waiting on news of a possible rule breach by opponents Curry Rivel on the last match of the season. This season has been a learning curve for many of Stowey's young cricketers who have represented the 2nd XI. In challenging circumstances the performances of Michael Barrow, Max Shirley, Matt Darch, Lee Villis plus many others have been a real highlight of the season. It is hoped that these cricketers will continue to develop in the 2nd XI next season and begin to push the 1st XI for places, you have been warned!!!
